About Carlyn

I'm a native of the D.C. area with a passion for health care and social change. After attending University of Maryland, College Park and launching my career in D.C., in 2017 I packed up and moved to Pittsburgh, PA, where my then-boyfriend and I bought a fixer-upper and planted a big vegetable garden. Since we moved to Pittsburgh, we got married and adopted two dogs, who really run the show around here. I also got my Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, where I remembered that I really love school.
